Start of Tenancy: Check-in Inventory Reports
This process is completed immediately prior to the commencement of the Tenancy.
We arrange to meet the tenant at the property and walk through the property and the Inventory with the Tenant.
We then agree and make any additional comments to the Inventory where necessary.
Utility meter readings are taken and details of keys to the property are noted.
The Inventory and Schedule of Condition is then signed by the Tenant and Inventory Consultant and the keys are handed over.
The aim of the Tenant Check In Service is to gain the Tenants agreement to the contents, fixture and fittings, furnishings and décor of the property at the start of the Tenancy. This helps to mitigate any disputes that may arise at the end of the tenancy when the Tenant moves out.
